Why dehydrated?
Dehydrated chews are dried at low temperatures over many hours, instead of being baked at high heat. That gentler process is where the benefits come from:

Raw feet and necks are mostly water, so it takes a lot of raw pounds to make one finished pound, and drying low and slow takes many hours. Because dehydrated chews are lighter, each bag holds more pieces than you might expect.
